Gumtree |  +4 Bike for sale on Gumtree AU Thanks for the swift response am ok with the price and the condition of it i am buying this for Dad and due to the nature of my job and location...i will not be able to come for inspection,am a very busy type as i work long hours everyday,i have gone through your advertisement and i am satisfied with it.As for the payment..i can only pay via the fastest and secure way to pay online(PayPal) here.I have a private courier agent that will come for the pick up after the payment have been made ...so no shipping included and With the issue of my details,transferring the name of ownership and signing of all paperwork will be done by the courier services company agent so you don\'t have to worry about that.You can now send me your PayPal email so i can pay in right away and also include your address in your reply.If you don\'t have a paypal account, you can easily set up one...log on to www.paypal.com.au and sign up its very easy... i would have loved to talk to you on phone but i work mainly offshore, our phone is down on the rig right now due to bad weather, that was why i sent you a text, i even wonder how my message deliver to your phone but for now we can only communicate through the same mailing channel.await your reply asap.

I posted my car for sale on Gumtree AU. After 30 mins. I recived a text message saying "I'm interested in your vehicle for sale. What is your last asking price & its present condition? Kindly get back to me at my email bryfooks56@live.com" now I thought it was legit so I emailed him my least price and the condition and then i received a reply straight away.
After explaining on my description the condition of the car and why I put the price that way he still askinf for it???

and then I was like.
-You want the car straight away.
-for your dad???? its a coupe for fvck sake!
-you don't want any inspections
-you can only pay through paypal
-and WTF with the private courier agent?
-I can only contact you using mail? WTF
I wish someone will play with this scammer and meetup his "private courier agen" and beat the crap outta him.

txt message arrived 30 mins after posting ad to Gumtree. "I'm interested in your vehicle for sale. What is your last asking price & its present condition? Kindly get back to me at my email bryfooks56@live.com"
What is the scam? Is it Gumtree making it look like their site gets a response? What is 'Bryce' getting out of this?

Text to say was interested in my bike for sale. Then he sent an email almost to the word of the other one listedmhere. Said he was buying my bike for his dad. My bike is a race bike, highly unlikely to be something you would put your dad on. Searched and found the info on here.

As above. I've had this type of scammer txt before so as soon as the txt came through I knew it wasn't genuine. He txt , said he could only be reached via email. 'I'm interested in your vehicle for sale. What is your last asking price and its present condition? Kindly get back to me at my email bryfooks@live.com" As with the last scam txt/email I received it came within 30 minutes of me posting the advert.
