Auction/eBay Scam
Gumtree |  +3 Wanting to purchase our car off gumtree Contacted us about a car we had for sale on gumtree. Said she was happy to pay the full amount, did not want to look at the car and would arrange someone to pick up and also said due to her work she could not call. Was also buying the car for her son who had just finished university. Sounded sus so googled her name and found a heap of other people who had reported something almost identical. |

Contacted me about a car advertised on gum tree said they worked on a oil rig wanted to buy the car for the price advertised sight unseen wanted pay pal details would have someone pick it up I smelled something fishy almost instantly and when I googled the email address it confirmed my suspicions

Both from a gumtree.com.au advert from car, look out for a text where the name has been listed but not in your contacts list
