Exactly same as the previous two reports. Asking for luxury jewellery I was selling on Gumtree. Sent a message and ask me to send him an email. Later he sent an email asking a few questions and said that he’s going to buy it for someone special in Beijing, China. Also request to pay via paypal and told me he will pay me $90 for delivery.
I answered the questions but feel a bit weird so I asked him to add me on whatsapp so I can send him videos of the ring, also I asked for the delivery address so I can calculate the postage fee instead of what he said $90.
Then he replied asking me to send him pics via email and he wanted to do the payment straight away. I asked for the address again, the only thing he gave me was ‘Beijing, China’. Well, it is definitely a scam so I searched his name on google and the scam reports appeared. Thanks for sharing your experience.
