Which I did immediately. It took another 16hrs before a response which immediately sounded suspicious, asking for bank details and a long personal story.
After doing a bit of research found out it was a scam. No personal info was given out, apart from email address

He will not answer the email response correctly. He reckons he has transferred an amount to his paypal account and for release but you must pay his Chinese agent, Han Ruixi, at Chaoyang Shunyi Road Beijing, China 100024 $2700 by Western Union transfer first.
It appears he has used the same story for different online scams over the year.
