This is considered a "Check Check Overpayment Scam". I Googled "tutor scam" and a ton of emails exactly the same popped up. Scammer Information Steven Noel offered to buy an item for $1600 on Craigslist, but claimed he would send an agent to pick it up after he paid me via paypal. Subsequent email asked me to send him $1000 via Western Union (to pay his agent) before he would send me the $1600. At that point I stopped corresponding with the scammer. I subsequently received emails from

purporting to act as Steven Noel's agents, and further requesting the $1000.
