Further details were sent and she said she wanted the room, and would pay via paypal. Then she asked us to pay a shipping company $435 so she could ship her belongings - which of course she would refund us! . We were already suspicious - so this was not really a surprise, just confirmation it was a scam. Claimed to be living in Switzerland, and using AirBnB to facilitate a rental which was priced too good to be true. Requested I send him personal details, and then someone from AirBnB would be in touch with me to take a deposit before i viewed the property.
Loads of red flags on this one, except it's well written in perfect english with perfect spelling. Don't be fooled!
