Not long after posting the ad I had a text reply on my mobile asking me to please email them. The exact wording was:
"Is the Gumtree items still available for sale? Kindly reply to golemetz20033@gmail.com plz no text."
So, I emailed (stupidly - I was so excited to have someone wanting to buy my items so quickly!!) to let them know that the items were still available. And this was the reply:
